Heather Colclasure

I knew that I wanted to be a stylist because I was very intrigued by the creative process that comes with being a stylist. I needed to be a part of that.
So I went to Capri College in the Fall of 1998 and graduated in the Spring of 2000.
I've always been willing to strive to be the best stylist I can be, and that shows when I was in school as well. Throughout my training I was always one of the top five students of my class. I never let that determination leave my system. While in school I worked as a receptionist at Hair by Stewarts, which resulted in being employed there for a collective of 18 years.
Although I felt comfortable there, I knew that it was time for a change of scenery and an atmosphere that kept me motivated. A dear friend of mine, Tammy Overton, recommended that I apply at Studio Seven Fourteen. The same salon she had worked at for an amplitude of years and loved!
I knew that I was taking a leap of faith and didn't know what was lying ahead of me. This was a very scary step for me to take, but since I have been here I have only prospered and grown as a stylist and person.
In the future I would like to expand my business into a more holistic experience. I love using essential oils and crystals in my day to day life, and I really think that everyone can benefit from them.
